for McCall's magazine between 1923 and 1937. She also did celebrity
portraits. Ms. McMein was married to John Baragwanath and moved in high
social circles with prominent people including the intellectuals that
hung out at the Algonquin Hotel. She also did the original Betty Crocker
for General Mills. |
