A rare work by L. W. de Laurence, a prominent
and prolific writer of the late 19th century specializing in subjects of
oriental occultism. As a member of the Masons, deLaurence's works were
highly esteemed by mystic and occultic branches of the order. His works
are still in great demand. Reprints have been made of this work, but an
original 1st edition is rare. At the time of publication deLaurence's writings
were considered "the only standard works published on these subjects."
