Feeney, Francis X.

Feeney joined the Starry Wisdom sect in 1849. His deathbed confession circa 1853 to Father O'Malley revealed that the Shining Trapezohedron had been found by Professor Bowen when investigating some Egyptian ruins and that the sect conjured up a mysterious entity that could not exist in the light. The Shining Trapezohedron enabled the members of the sect to see other worlds, and the conjured entity - whom the members of the sect called the Haunter of the Dark -revealed to them some unbearable secrets.
